This week, my husband and I have finally been taking our Christmas vacation. Instead of being off during the holidays, we decided to hold off and save some money on flights!
So, we’ve been in vacation mode for the last couple of days. BUT, I could leave you guys hanging!
I have a small pattern for you guys this week. This is called the Bobble and Ribs coffee coats!
You know how you almost always get one of those cardboard sleeves on your coffee when you go to Starbucks or any number of other coffee joints? Well, in Montreal, and a lot of cities, you no longer get those! Honestly, this is a good thing because it stops a lot of unnecessary waste. I can’t imagine how much paper we use just for those little sleeves! But, your coffee is still hot, and it is still liable to burn your hands!
In comes these cute coffee coats! And, what do you know, they’re awesome at keeping your hands from burning off when you get coffee, and they’re economical because they’re reusable and you’ll never need another of those paper sleeves! Saving the environment 1 coffee sleeve at a time!
I used Caron Simply Soft for my coffee coats, but you can use virtually any DK Weight 3 yarn.
And, if you like to crochet too, try out the Happy Hearts Coffee Coats!
I love to see what you create!
